The Key of the prophecies

“So we have confirmation of what was said in prophecies; and you will be right to depend on prophecy and take it as a lamp for lighting a way through the dark…” (2 Peter 1,19)

The “Key” that opens the Apocalyptical mysteries that were kept sealed till now, and also opens all the preceding Biblical prophecies, Old and New Testaments. With this Key, the symbols are clarified, as we will demonstrate further down:

  • “Gog and Magog” (Ezekiel 38,2 / 38,9 and 38,15 / Revelation 20,7-8)
  • “The Abomination of Desolation” (Daniel 9,27 / 11,31 / 12,11 / Matthew 24,15)
  • “The End of Times” (Ezekiel 38,8 / Matthew 24,14-15)
  • “The Greatest Tribulation in history” (Daniel 12,1 / Matthew 24,21 / Revelation 7,14)

In addition, the following are also clarified:

  • “The first Resurrection” (Daniel 12,2 / John 5,29 / Revelation 20,5-6)
  • “The two olive trees” (Zechariah 4,4 and 4,14 / Revelation 11,3-13)
  • “The Measuring of the Sanctuary” (Ezekiel 47,3 / Revelation 11,1-2)

More ample information can be found in the text “The Key of the Revelation”.

In order to understand chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel, we have to recall Ezekiel’s historical context. The Hebrews were in exile in Babylon and the Temple was destroyed. They all awaited, with anxiety, for their return from exile, and the reconstruction of the temple, as is still the case today. Consider Daniel’s state, who waited anxiously for the temple’s reconstruction (Daniel 9). Ezekiel sees the return of the Hebrews to Palestine in a strange manner: it is “Gog and Magog” who invade the country, with the aid of many nations (Ezekiel 38 and 39 / Revelation 13,2- 3 / 13,12 and 20,7-9). He also sees the “measure” of the new Temple, a measure that does not correspond, however, to the second Temple. God clarifies this by saying that the message is for “the end of times”, which is none other than the Apocalyptical times, this period that will witness the end of times accorded to Israel as a state. Note the exaggerated borders of Israel in Ezekiel 47,13-23, which, in my opinion, is an addition of the “lying pen of the scribes” (Jeremiah 8,8).

The Revelation explains all the Biblical prophecies

By the opening of the Apocalypse, that is to say, by its explanation as revealed by Jesus, all prior biblical prophecies regarding the period of the end of times are clarified.
The “Key” of the Book of Revelation thus opens all the prophecies that are found in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) regarding these years of the end of times, and explains them all: “Books were opened (the Book of Revelation), which is the Book of Life” (Revelation 20,12). It talks of, of-course, Eternal Life: it is the first Resurrection mentioned in Revelation 20,6. The Resurrection is awarded to those who believe that Jesus has already opened the Book of Revelation.

Considering the importance of this Key, three prophets of the Old Testament, foresaw the opening of the Book of Revelation:

  1. Isaiah saw it coming from Lebanon: “Is it not true that, in a very short time, Lebanon will become a productive ground… that day the deaf will hear the words of the Book and, delivered from shadow and darkness, the eyes of the blind will see…” (Isaiah 29,17-20). It is the return to spiritual life through the opening of the Book of Revelation.
  2. Ezekiel 2,8-3,11: “Open your mouth and eat … a Book … and it tasted sweet as honey”. Compare with the open Scroll in Revelation 10,2-11. This Book Scroll was rolled, sealed, and Christ alone can open it (Revelation 5).
  3. Zechariah sees a book of judgement “flying” (Zechariah 5,1-4). It is, once again, the open Book of Revelation, “flying” on the internet, penetrates everywhere and judges the consciences.

The Prophecies that concern the “End of Times”

One should understand the period of the end of times permitted to the State of Israel:

Ezekiel 38,8: “Many days will pass… in the final years to come…”

Ezekiel 38,16: “I myself am going to bring you (Israel) in the final days to come to attack my country (Palestine)”.

Compare with:

Revelation 1,1 and 1,3: “The time is near…”

Revelation 20,7-9: “When the thousand years are over… Satan will gather Gog and Magog from the four quarters of the earth and mobilize them for war… They came swarming over the entire country (Palestine) and besieged the camp of the saints, the Beloved City (Jerusalem)…”

See also:

Daniel 12,4-13: “Daniel, keep these words secret and sealed (today opened, explained by the Revelation) until the time of the End (Apocalyptic time)… you will rise for your reward at the end of time (through the explanation of his message, which has become clear).”

Matthew 24,14-15 and Luke 21,20-36.

The Divine Purpose

God’s purpose – by allowing the Jews to return to Palestine from all over the world – is to show the whole world His Glory and Omnipotence, as well as of His Messiah’s: Jesus. In particular, those who have rejected Him, and have “pierced” Him (Ezekiel 38,23 / 39,21-29 / Zechariah 12,10-14 and compare to Revelation 1,7 and 18,9).

Gog and Magog are assembled in Palestine, from the four quarters of the earth for war

  • Ezekiel 39,2 (from the extreme borders of the North: Ukraine, Russia, etc…)
  • Ezekiel 38,5 (from Persia: Iran, and Ethiopia: the Falasha, African Jews of Ethiopia who settled down in Israel). Compare with Revelation 20,7-9 / Zechariah 2,10.
  • Ezekiel 39,17-20 compare with Revelation 19,17-18.
  • Zechariah 12,9-11 compare with Revelation 16,16.

The unexpected and very disturbing conclusion:
Gog and Magog today, is none other but… Israel itself. “You are that man(criminal)”, says the prophet Nathan to king David (2 Samuel 12,7). The prophet Nathan of today is the Angel of the Book of Revelation who tells Israel: “You are this Beast and Gog & Magog, you are the Babylon of today and the Abomination of Desolation”. The State of Israel has deceived Jews and Christians, even their almighty leaders, and the whole world. Its unexpected end is near, distressing, just as the Megiddo of yesteryears (2 King 23,29-30 / Revelation 16,16).

A clarifying addition

  1. Torrents of rain and hail…: Ezekiel 38,22 / Revelation 16,21. It is the modern shelling and bombings.
  2. Measure of the Temple: Ezekiel 40,3 / Zechariah 2,5-9 / Revelation 11,1. The measure is the Apocalyptical message.
  3. The Water Source: Ezekiel 47,1-2 / Revelation 22,1. This Water of Life is Jesus Himself: John 4,13-14 and 7,37-39.
  4. The doors of the Temple: Ezekiel 48,30 (only 12 doors: the 12 tribes) Revelation 21,12-14 adds 12 foundation stones (12 doors, the 12 tribes + the 12 foundation stones, Jesus’ apostles). Ezekiel’s Temple lacked the 12 foundation stones, the 12 apostles of “the Corner Stone”, the Messiah, Jesus. This is why Ezekiel could not cross the River of Life at his time, the Messiah had not yet come (Ezekiel 47,5).
  5. The name of the City: “Yahweh is here” (Ezekiel 48,35). The Book of Revelation expresses itself in these terms: “Here God lives among men. He will make his home among them; they shall be his people, and he will be their God; his name is God-with-them.” (Revelation 21,1-3)

The Book of Revelation is that of the new Spiritual Life, a spiritual life regenerated (Revelation 20,12 / Revelation 22,17) from the new Heavenly Jerusalem, that of the Emmanuel, “God-with-them” (Matthew 1,23 / Revelation 21,1-3), in which no material temple is found (neither church, nor mosque etc…): “I could not see any temple in the city, since the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb were Themselves the Temple” (Revelation 21,22). The true Temple desired by God, therefore, is not material, but the heart of true believers:

“Do you not realize that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives among you? … the Temple of God is sacred; and you are that Temple” (1 Corinthians 3,16-17 / see also 1 Peter 2,4-6 and John 4,21-24).
